Rechargeable, Self-Heating Boots Keep Toes Toasty

This Wired article talks about boots that have lithium batteries to allow the user to warm their feet for four hours using three settings. The boots that Batman uses would certainly mirror some aspects of this technology, especially when fighting Mr. Freeze.
