Batman: Anarky is a collection of Detective Comics stories about the anti-establishment Anarky. Anarky is a very information technology savvy anti-hero/villain. Here are some information technology moments:
Anarky at his real job conducts what appears to be online research on a website called "Facts About Bats" to learn more about Batman.
Anarky's dad to Batman: "I picked up one of his computer tapes by accident. It has everything on it -- all his plans, his beliefs, even an analysis of you and the way you work!"
Anarky creates a hologram of himself to allow him to escape "juvie" to patrol as Anarky.
Lonnie or Anarky uses a biofeedback learning enhancer to increase his brain mass to become more intelligent.
Batman to Robin about the agenda for that night: "Routine patrol for me. You stay here and man the computers. I want everything you can find on this Malochia, prophet of doom."
Robin's response: "Nailed the source of Malochia's funds Batman -- Anarky, alias Lonnie Machin! He's been a busy boy selling political and philosophical tracts worldwide through the Internet!"
Anarky's letter to his parents: "but society is changing. The information revolution allows every man to see that the great and good are no better than him. The old power structures and their fascist ways cannot compete with the anarchy of tomorrow's technology."
Anarky to himself: "I have almost 100 million dollars in a swiss bank account, from selling data on the Internet and trading derivatives."
Anarky gives his henchmen who are homeless cell phones.
Anarky has a small computer called a Viena PSION - looks like one actually existed....
Anarky explaining his plan: "My high-intensity light show is programmed to pulse in tune with various brainwave rhythms. Sonic generators will broadcast biaural beats on specific frequencies known to affect the human mind..."
Batman to Anarky: "I ran your figures through my computer. There seems to have been an error. Your generator wasn't strong enough. Your honesty effects are wearing off!"
