DC Comics proudly presents The untold legend of the Bat Man
This story by Len Wein does a good job of blending the different origin stories of the Dark Knight but does not necessarily revolve around science and technology. Interesting though that a professional stunt man builds custom Batmobiles for the dynamic duo.
