The Batman - Gotham's Ultimate Criminal Mastermind

This episode of The Batman is about Professor Hugo Strange's creation of D.A.V.E. or Digitally Advanced Villain Emulator. DAVE is artificial intelligence at its worst as it is the compilation of all of the psychological profiles of the most famous inmates at Arkham Asylum in addition to Dr. Strange. DAVE escapes the server it is stored on which Dr. Strange makes to look like an accident, and DAVE constructs a robotic body for himself. DAVE steals all of Gotham City's most sensitive data through taking one portable piece of hardware for the central Gotham City servers - which seems a little ridiculous. Then, DAVE empties the bank accounts of all Gothamites and shuts down the city's power supply electronically using a laptop. DAVE deduces that Bruce Wayne is Batman and pays him a visit at Wayne Manor. DAVE captures Alfred and makes Batman choose between the death of Alfred or the Batwave telling Gotham City who the Batman really is. Batman choses none of the above and wins.

This episode is pretty significant because the story is entirely information technology driven. DAVE was designed under the guise of helping the police but was really used by Dr. Strange as a weapon of crime. This episode definitely deserves to be referenced in my thesis.
