Popular Arthurian traditions By Sally K. Slocum

In this book, there is an essay entitled Gotham's Dark Knight: The Postmodern Transformation of the Arthurian Mythos by Jesse W. Nash. The author does a good job of showing how Batman and King Arthur are related, but the postmodern version of Batman is much different. This essay may prove useful when discussing about how Batman echoes the heroes of old.
