BTAS - What is Reality?
This episode of Batman: The Animated Series starts out with the Riddler hacking into the ATMs, stock market computers, and DMV computers to leave riddles for the Batman. Meanwhile, the Riddler is focused on destroying all records of E. Nygma and has successfully deleted the digital records as discovered through a search of Gotham City's records using Commissioner Gordon's computer. The Riddler focuses on destroying the hard copies next, which Batman is unable to prevent even though Batman is able to arrive at the scene thanks to using the Batcomputer to solve the riddles. Batman is chased by a car that drives itself and is full of explosives. Batman receives 4 quarters and 1 penny from a telephone near the scene which directs him to police headquarters in 101 computer building. Robin has figured out that the package the Riddler delivered the police is a virtual reality simulator but forgets to check the hardware to see that the computer connected to a telephone line, which allows the Riddler to trap Commissioner Gordon in virtual reality. This turn of events forces Batman to enter the world to save Commissioner Gordon. Batman wins, and the Riddler gets trapped in his own virtual reality system.
