BTAS - The Demon's Quest

In this two part episode of Batman: The Animated Series, Ra's al Ghul desires to measure the power of his potential vessel and successor - the Batman - by kidnapping Robin and sending Batman on a worldwide hunt for answers. Batman does not share Ra's al Ghul vision for the future forcing the Demon's Head to speed up his plans to cleanse the earth of the human race. He plans to do so by sending a signal to bombs located near all of the Lazarus Pits in the world to explode simultaenously. He plans to do this through the satellite Orpheus. After Batman and Robin escape Ra's al Ghul snow mountain stronghold, the Dynamic Duo venture to Wayne Enterprises Nepal Office to conduct a database search on the term Orpheus and discover the existence of a satellite orbiting over a location in the Sahara, which gives away the location of Ra's al Ghul.
